Hello,members and Friends!
Thanks to all who attended the Awards Banquet! We appreciate you all and your presence in our club! I think our silent auction was a success,I haven't heard the tally yet,but I saw Anita taking lots of money!! LOL!! The food was wonderful,and the Buckles beautiful!! Great job to all you Buckle winners!You all did an awesome job !!
We had several outside sponsors again this year,and I would like to especially thank those who donated an item,or items,as this is our big fund-raiser for the 2010 show season!

Hello Everyone,
Thanks to all for attending the State Line Shows and making our show season a success. Our Year End Banquet for 2009 will be held at the Hepler Community Center, Hepler, KS on Sunday, November 22 2009, 4 pm at no cost. Board members please come at 3 pm to help set up. We want everyone to come for a good time together. Please RSVP to attend by November 15th. You can call my home 620-724-6682 or email me at aburgar1106@yahoo.com . We will have the Social Hour at 4pm with our annual Silent Auction. Please bring a horse or non-horse related item. This is our main fundraiser for the year. We have had some horse related and non horse related companies donate items this year. Pictures will be taken of individual and a Group Youth picture as a Thank you to our sponsors and supporters. Dinner will follow at 5pm, Board members and Officers are providing the BBQ Beef and sides. Please bring a small dessert. You don’t have to be receiving a year end award to attend. Our meeting will be at 6pm with awards afterwards. Come join us to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year, be among friends and eat some really good food. 2009 Year End Points are available on our website. An Awards List of the Grand & Reserve Winners in each class and the All Around results will be mailed out shortly. 2010 Show Bills with Dates will be available at the Banquet.

Hello all,
One more update on this weekend's play-date.! We will hold rain or shine. If too wet,we will have the potluck,costume classes,and some games on foot. We can use the Hepler Community Center. Also if your last name begins with the letter A-H: please bring a salad or some type of finger food. If your last name begins with the letter-R: please bring some veggies or some cheese. If your last name begins with S-Z: please bring a dessert! Stateline will provide hamburgers,hot dogs,and bottled water. Come on out and join in on the fun,or just come to visit and watch! The playdate for October 18th will begin with a potluck lunch @ 1:00 pm,and the events will begin @ 2:00 pm. We are having lots of fun classes and some timed events too!! Should be a great time! Dear Stateline Members,
We are having a Playday/Shodeo on October 18th,2009 @ the Hepler arena.. A potluck meal is in the works,and hopefully the weather will cooperate this time!
A Halloween costume class will also be among the many fun classes available for the day.There will be no judge for performance classes, so we are having timed events,and fun classes only. Check this site periodically for more updates. Start time will be @ 1:00 PM.
P.S. Our President,Sherry Bulot said we also will have a stick horse class,so get your cameras ready!!

Hello all Stateline Members and Friends!!
We have one show left this season,September 6th@ Hepler ruritan arena. The show will begin @ 11:00 a.m. Hopefully the weather will be a bit cooler,and beautiful for a horse show!!
Those of you that pack a camera to the shows,it looks as though our gallery is empty for the July 19th show!! if you all have some good pictures you would like to post,send them to or e-mail Kristy McKechnie,or send them to Sherry ,Anita,Etta,or I ,and we will see that they get where they need to be!! .
Cindy Boeck got some great sponsorship for our 2008 Silent Auction. Unfortunately,her computer has crashed,and she lost that info. If anyone could possibly come up with some Equine related,or non-equine items to auction off,that would be appreciated so much.
Don't forget,we will have a costume class @ our Sept. show,so get it on your minds!!

I understand the Parsons,Ks. show was a success,and the weather was perfect! Sorry I missed it! Hope to see you all on the 19th,and have a safe Fourth Of July! We will be holding a silent auction again this year at our awards Banquet. Anyone willing to track down some donated goods,horse related or not would be greatly appreciated!! We are having a youth appreciation show at the Parsons indoor pen this season. The date is June 28th, and all day fees will be reduced for the day for all youth contestants!! It's a great time to get your show horses in that arena before the upcoming district show at that location! Of course we want you ALL to come and show!! Dear Stateline Horse Show Enthusiasts!!
We have decided to cancel the Sunday May 3rd. Horse Show,due to all the rain we have recently,and still are receiving. It seems to affect turnout,and we are not using the indoor pen this time at Dan Bridwell's in Frontenac. Our next scheduled Horse Show will be on May 17th,at Hepler,Ks.
The Hepler Ruritan Arena is located five miles west of Girard,Ks. on Hwy 47,North on State Rd.3,11 miles,turn left on Farlington St.We hope to see you all on the 17th of May,hopefully with a much drier Arena!! Take care,and we'll see you down the Rail!

Members and friends,
Good News, The weather is better and gas is cheaper than last year !! But It has been decided to move this Sunday April 26, Horse show to Frontenac to show in the indoor arena. Even if we don't get sloppy rain, the wind is going to be gusting up to 30 miles an hour. The Diamond D Arena is located in Frontenac, KS. East of Hwy 69 on McKay Street, 1 1/2 miles on the North Side. There will be a $7 a head charge for horses using the Arena Sunday. Dan Bridwell will be providing concessions. We will postpone the Member appreciation Free Hamburgers and Hot Dogs to the first Hepler Horse show instead.
The SHOWBILL has directions to all our locations and info on our Special Events this season. We will be having a big Youth Appreciation Show at the Parsons, KS location, June 28. That's just before the 4-H District Show in the same location. Good chance for all area 4-H Youth to get your horses in the arena prior to the big District Show for practice. the new arena in Parsons is an indoor arena. We will show rain or shine ! Reduced All Day class fees for Youth that day.
At our July 19 Show at the Crawford County Fairgrounds, Girard, KS we will be having AQHA - American Quarter Horse Assoc. Novice Youth and Novice Amateur Classes. Start time is moved up to 11am to allow for enough time for all Novice and our regular open classes too. AQHA memberships will be avaliable for purchase at the show. Stalls will be also be availAHA.
We will have available-Around Youth and Adult again this year. I will have nomination forms available at the show. $5 per horse/rider team.
